Production has just wrapped on the upcoming Marvel film 'Deadpool,' but news on the set keep emerging all over the internet.
Although it was announced that X-Men member Colossus would appear in the movie, the name of the actor who will portray the character has not been confirmed. That was until actor Andre Tricoteux posted on Twitter to thank the 'Deadpool' crew including Ryan Reynolds, Ed Skrein, Brianna Hildegard and Gina Carano.
"That's a wrap for me! Thanks to all the cast and crew. @VancityReynolds @briannahilde @edskrein @ginacarano #Deadpool #Colossus #yvrshoots," Tricoteux posted on May 28.
The post itself was unassuming, even if the hashtag for Colossus was included. However, almost immediately, Carano responded and confirmed the actor's role in the film.

"You're the best #Colossus a person could ask for Andre," the actress posted, adding a heart emoji and retweeting Tricoteux's post.

Twitter users were quick to react to the news. Comic Book Resources posted a picture of Tricoteux on the set of 'Deadpool,' where he can be seen wearing a motion capture suit.

Since then, the actor has posted on Twitter that he is unavailable to answer questions as he is currently taking care of his terminally ill wife.
Tricoteux has appeared in the TV movie 'To the Mat.' He has been featured in several TV series like 'True Justice,' 'Arctic Air,' 'Once Upon a Time' and 'Impastor.' The actor worked as a stunt double in the 2014 film 'Seventh Son.' Tricoteux will play an Orc War Captain in the much awaited 'Warcraft' film.
Colossus is known as the strongest member of the X-Men who can transform into a formidable metallic form. The character was played by Daniel Cudmore in the X-Men film series.
'Deadpool' also stars Morena Baccarin and T.J. Miller. It is directed by Tim Miller and is scheduled for release on February 12, 2016.
