According to the Wall Street Journal, Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch property is up for sale for an astounding $100 million. Neverland Ranch was the King of Pop's home and his personal fantasy land.
The 2,700-acre estate in Los Olivos, California is now called "Sycamore Valley Ranch,"
Jackson bought the property for $19.5 million in 1987, a 40-mile ride away from Santa Barbara California. A $24 million loan was made when the 'Thriller' singer had wealth issue.Jackson was able to acquire the property again through a venture with Colony Capital (a real estate investment firm).
Harry Kolb of Sotheby's and Jeffrey Hyland of Hilton & Hyland together with Realtor Suzanne Perkins of Sotheby's International Realty shared the listing.
According to Suzanne Perkins, "The Normandy-style main house, which sits between the property's two lakes, measures about 12,000 square feet, with six bedrooms plus an attached staff quarters. There's a four-bedroom guesthouse near the main home and a two-bedroom guesthouse a little farther away. There's also a swimming pool with a cabana, a barbecue area, basketball court and a tennis court. A 50-seat movie theater has a private viewing balcony, and a stage includes trap doors for magic shows." There are still 22 structures inside the 2,700 acres of Michael's property.
Jackson's creation in the property - the train station and railroad tracks are still in the premises, sadly the Neverland Ranch's zoo animals and park rides are no longer within the property
Countless admirers of Michael Jackson are expected to be interested in the property. Before the listing agents can show the property to their possible customers, they are recommended to have an "extensive pre-qualification."
Mr. Hyland said: "Our seller is not encouraging a lot of showings," .Ms. Perkins also added that no property tours will ve conducted.
