Miley Cyrus has a lot on her plate lately. After founding The Happy Hippie Foundation, creating #BackyardSessions with Melanie Safka, Laura Jane Grace, Joan Jett and Ariana Grande, and half-naked live performances in butterfly wings, it seems as though Miley isn't stopping anytime soon.
Quite recently, Cyrus has been making headlines for somehow helping "Grace and Frankie" renewed for a second season. The Netflix show stars Oscar winner Jane Fonda and Emmy winners Lily Tomlin, Sam Waterson, and Martin Sheen.
Marta Kauffan, co-creator of the hit sitcom "Friends," is also one of the geniuses behind the new Netflix comedy. Kauffman announced the renewal in a statement, via PEOPLE, and even thanked Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos too.
"Let me say, it's so awesome to do a show on Netflix," she wrote. "Because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, 'We'd like to do a season two.' So yes, there is a season two. We have Ted and Miley to thank," she added.
Miley expressed her love for the show on Monday night through Twitter. The "Wrecking Ball" singer said, "I found my show! #GraceandFrankie on a bender! Jane & Lily as so bad a$$!"
Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin portray the roles of two women in their 70s, who try to start over after their husbands, played by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterson, decide to get married to each other.
Many fans are hoping to see Dolly Parton do a cameo in the upcoming season. The idea doesn't seem too far-fetched since Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are friends with Miley's godmother, Dolly Parton, in real life.
Miley Cyrus also concluded the #HappyHippiePresents: Backyard Sessions a few weeks ago.
On May 18, she wrote, "Closing out this #BackyardSessions series with a couple more videos!!" The Facebook post was accompanied by a video of Miley's rendition of "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" by Paul Simon.
