'Lost Stars' Singer Keira Knightley and James Righton Welcome Baby Girl

Keira Knightley is officially a mommy!

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actress has finally welcomed a baby girl with husband James Righton.

This is the first child for both Knightley and the musician. Both parents have decided not to check on the sex of the baby before the delivery.

The pregnancy was confirmed by People in December last year. The actress eventually started joking about her growing baby bump at the SAG Awards, saying that she has an excuse to remove her shoes.

"The shoes are quite high - they may come off later," Knightley said. "I can [say], 'Well, I'm pregnant so my shoes have to come off,' and nobody is allowed to say anything so that is nice."

Knightley had a small role as one of Padme Amidala's decoys in 'Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.' She first caught the public eye when she played a young soccer player in 'Bend it Like Beckham.'

The actress has appeared in several movies including 'Love Actually,' 'Pride and Prejudice' and 'Anna Karenina.' She is best known for playing aspiring pirate Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Knightley received several award nominations for playing Joan Clarke in the 2014 drama 'The Imitation Game' with Benedict Cumberbatch.

Righton is the former keyboardist and co-vocalist of the London indie-rock band 'Klaxons.' The group released their debut album 'Myths of the Near Future' in 2007 and scored two hits with 'Golden Skans' and 'It's Not Over Yet.'

The keyboardist met Knightley right after the release of the second album 'Surfing the Void' in 2011. Shortly after the release of 'Love Frequency,' the band's third album, Klaxons announced that their last headline tour would be on January 2015.

Righton's last show with the band was on January 30 at the Teatro Estudio Cavaret in Guadalajara, Mexico.
