Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 were one of the biggest things happening in music in the 1960s, having turned into counterculture icons at the time of the social revolution alongside others like The Beatles, Bob Dylan and even The Rolling Stones - but things have been strained between them for decades.
Back in the 1970s, Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 broke up as a duo when Simon left the project after they had known each other since childhood, and four decades and many successful ventures later, it seems like Garfunkel's still holding a grudge about the whole thing.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, even though Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 have seen their fair share of individual success (more so Simon, but Garfunkel has had a very impressive career himself as well) and even a few reunions ever since, but it seems like nearly fifty years after breaking up Garfunkel still hasn't forgiven his old band mate for stepping out.
The Guardian reports that the man famous for his redhead curls has spoken candidly about how he still feels disappointed that Simon left the Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 duo at the peak of their success, right after the release of "Bridge over Troubled Water," the band's most successful album in their history.
"How can you walk away from this lucky place on top of the world, Paul? What's going on with you, you idiot? How could you let that go, jerk?" asked the singer rhetorically to his former band mate, speaking about how it had felt when Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 first departed musically.
Simon then added that he had only become friends with the 5'3" singer-songwriter in the 50s out of pity, and by showing him kindness he had turned Simon into "a monster," as he told The Telegraph, years after Art Garfunkel and Paul Simon 2015 split, that his band mate had a Napoleon complex.
