Chris Pratt Takes to Facebook to Apologize in Advance for 'Jurassic World' Press Tour

Chris Pratt is sorry. He hasn't even done anything yet, but he would like to apologize for anything and everything he will say or do during the 'Jurassic World' press tour.

The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor recently posted a lengthy apology on his Facebook page. Pratt wanted to make sure that the press would forgive him in case he offends them in any way.

"I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ‪#‎JurassicWorld press tour," Pratt wrote. "I hope you understand it was never my intention to offend anyone and I am truly sorry. I swear. I'm the nicest guy in the world. And I fully regret what I (accidentally will have) said in (the upcoming foreign and domestic) interview(s)."

The actor continues to say that he sometimes only wants to entertain the press, and that some jokes do not translate well around exhausted people. He also addresses that any grand blunders that will be called #JurassicGate is not something to laugh about. Pratt ends by writing, "To those I (will likely have had) offended rest assured I will do everything in my power to make sure this doesn't happen (again)."

The post might be poking fun at a recent uproar during the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' press tour. Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner had jokingly called the Black Widow (played by Scarlett Johansson) two sexist names. The two actors later apologized for the incident, with Renner saying that they were just "poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour."

'Jurassic World' also stars Bryce Dallas-Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio and Irrfan Khan. Child actor Ty Simpkins, who has previously starred in 'Iron Man 3,' will play Gray Mitchell.

The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow and is scheduled for release on June 12, 2015.
