Janice Dickinson Bill Cosby: After ‘Cosby Show’ Comedian Denies Rape, Supermodel Accuser Sues For Defamation

As per the former supermodel's very vivid account to Ronan Farrow a few months back, Janice Dickinson and Bill Cosby go way back, as she is one of the many women who have stepped out to talk about her experiences with the comedian, claiming he sexually assaulted her when she was starting out in the fashion world.

Last week, however, the "Cosby Show" icon went on public record to deny the rape accusations currently surrounding him, including the story told by Janice Dickenson on Bill Cosby's sexual abuse to her, after stating that she hadn't spoken about the assault on her autobiography but she was asked by Cosby's lawyers to remove the details.

Now, according to CNN, the Janice Dickenson and Bill Cosby story continues, as the "America's Next Top Model" judge has taken legal action against the comedian, saying his denial of the 1982 rape was defaming her good name.

USA Today reports that this new stage of problems between Janice Dickenson and Bill Cosby started soon after she had spoken about her past experience with the star, in the context of around three dozen women who have shared similar stories of Cosby drugging and raping them at some point of their lives - even Kathie Lee Gifford has stated Cosby once tried to kiss her during a shared tour.

After she told the disturbing Janice Dickenson and Bill Cosby story, the model was defamed by the comedian's representatives - and she's now taking legal action against this.

"Janice Dickinson, like over three dozen other Cosby victims, recently publicly disclosed that she was drugged and raped by Bill Cosby," reads the official Janice Dickenson on Bill Cosby complaint, according to People. "In retaliation, Cosby, through an attorney, publicly branded her a liar and called her rape disclosure a lie with the intent and effect of revictimizing her and destroying the professional reputation she's spent decades building."
