Jared Padalecki Twitter: ‘Supernatural’ Star Cancels Convention Appearance – Is ‘Gilmore Girls’ Dean DEPRESSED?

For the most part, Jared Padalecki's Twitter account is filled with pictures of the actor hanging out with those closest to him, including his "Supernatural" co-star Jensen Ackles, as well as a few jokes here and there - but suddenly, fans have begun to grow concern over his state of mind.

Earlier this year, the "Gilmore Girls" alum told Variety in an interview that he had been battling with depression on and off for the past seven years, and ever since Jared Padalecki's Twitter has often showed his fans giving him a lot of support over his decision to speak out about his time battling this disease.

Now, according to Perez Hilton, concern has grown over the star after Jared Padalecki's Twitter became full of cryptic messages about his health and how he needed his family, canceling plans for appearing in two major conventions, one in Italy and the other one in Australia.

The Huffington Post reports that, following the worrying stint on Jared Padalecki's Twitter, his TV brother Ackles addressed why Padalecki stepped out of their scheduled appearances, stating he had "exhausted" himself after a long round of appearances and he had to step out.

"In true Jared fashion, he exhausted himself to the point where he had to tap out," said Ackles of his co-star and friend. "He needed to go home and get some rest and be with his family."

Following the statement, Ackles also went on to leave a public message on Jared Padalecki's Twitter page, calling him "my brother" and saying he had Padalecki's back.

International Business Times reports that the "Gilmore Girls" actor has been working hard to raise awareness for depression in the past few months, releasing a campaign called "Always Keep Fighting" where he sells t-shirts bearing the slogan, with the proceedings going to charity To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), dedicated to helping those dealing with suicide thoughts and depression.

Hopefully, Jared Padalecki's Twitter will show he's feeling better soon!
