Minions Trailer: Kevin, Stuart And Bob Get THIRD Trailer For ‘Despicable Me’ Spinoff – Minion Life Before Gru! [VIDEO]

Ever since the release of the Steve Carell-led film "Despicable Me" back in 2010 as well as its 2013 sequel, the little yellow guys that hilariously helped Gru achieve his evil plans became a worldwide sensation, often going viral as their image appeared on millions of products - and now they're getting their own movie, as fans can se in the new "Minions" trailer!

For months on end, the people at Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have teased the summer 2015 film, even launching campaigns before any "Minions" trailers had come out with the funny-sounding characters appearing on major sports events like the 2014 FIFA World Cup and this year's Super Bowl.

According to E! Online, the newest "Minions" trailer shows the beloved characters in a quest, years before finally meeting Gru, to find the "biggest, baddest villain to serve" and follow in evil and potentially adorable adventures.

Slash Film reports that the "Minions" trailer shows that the film is actually set a full 42 years before the first installment of "Despicable Me," which means it's also a period piece - which is quite fun in itself, as it would probably involve the world's new favorite yellow cartoon characters (sorry, Simpsons) in the middle of the hippie movement as they go on a road trip.

According to Cinema Blend, the setting for the new "Minions" trailer could be familiar to those who watched the teaser from February, as it sees the three main characters, Kevin, Stuart and Bob (who come from a very ancient species that has roamed the planet for millennia looking for "despicable" masters to serve in their evil-doing), go on a journey to find their perfect fit after failing with masters such as Dracula and Napoleon Bonaparte.

The film, set for a July 10 release, features an all-star voice cast that includes Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm and the recent Academy Award nominee Michael Keaton.
