Lily-Rose Depp Movies: Johnny Depp’s Daughter With Vanessa Paradis Co-Starring In Natalie Portman’s ‘Planetarium’

Johnny Depp's oldest daughter from his longtime relationship with French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis seemingly takes after her famous parents, taking on her a new major film role, turning Lily-Rose Depp's movies into two as she's cast alongside Oscar winner Natalie Portman in an upcoming film.

A few months back, it was reported that Kevin Smith was directing Johnny in an upcoming film, "Yoga Hosers," which would also add to Lily-Rose Depp's movies as she co-starred with a smaller role alongside her father and Smith's own daughter and her real-life BFF Harley Quinn, having been close since they met in kindergarten.

According to an exclusive story by Variety, Lily-Rose Depp's movies list has just added a new title, "Planetarium," and they will reportedly play sisters - not a bad idea at all, considering how strikingly similar the two of them look to each other, in spite of an age difference of more than 15 years.

Grazia Daily reports that the new addition to Lily-Rose Depp's movies is actually a period drama piece following two sisters that believe they have the supernatural ability to speak with ghosts and have them reply.

The film is set for a May 2016 release and French director Rebecca Zlotowski will be in charge of directing, after being behind the camera for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival critical hit "Grand Central."

There's still few information about how the second of Lily-Rose Depp's movies will be, but it's been reported that Portman, who hasn't worked for a French director since Luc Besson's 1994 film "Léon," is currently practicing her language for her role in the film - something that the young Depp should have no problem with, seeing as she's half French, besides having grown up between her two parents' nations.

"The political context of "Planetarium" will have a modern resonance with the current crisis and rise of extremism in Europe," says website Bloody-Disgusting about the second of Lily-Rose Depp's movies. "The character of the producer is freely inspired by Jewish producer Bernard Natan, one of the biggest French film industry figures of the '20s and '30s, who eventually died in Auschwitz."
