For many, besides the fried goodies, the Church's Chicken biscuits are the ultimate reason to give the vast food chain a try, and as National Biscuit Day approaches, it could be a time to give your nearest location a visit to celebrate with a free and delicious honey-butter one.
There are a number of hilarious (if not somewhat ridiculous) food-related holidays out there, from a global one dedicated to Nutella to national ones for pizza and even frozen yogurt, so there's no reason there wouldn't be a National Biscuit Day as well - and even less of an excuse to celebrate with some delicious Church's Chicken biscuits!
According to KRGV, the Church's Chicken biscuits promo will be happening on May 14 (which is to say, next Thursday) after making any purchase in a nearby participating venue of the chain; besides, guests can also get an additional free biscuit after ordering a full side order of the baked goodies.
The Church's Chicken biscuits promo was announced through a statement published on PR News Wire earlier this week, and it's in the middle of their new "Have the Love" campaign which also featured a few interesting promos for last Sunday's Mother's Day.
"In addition to our legendary hand-battered chicken, our honey-butter biscuits are an essential part of the Church's Chicken guest experience," said Adam Tabachnikoff, the VP of Marketing Activation and Product Development for the company, to Restaurant News Release. "We can't think of a better day to share that delicious experience and delight our loyal fans than National Biscuit Day."
The chain, though currently based on Georgia, was originally founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1952, and has since become one of the largest fried chicken chains in the world, after giants like KFC, Chick-Fil-A and its former sister chain Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits.
