NBC New Shows List: Neil Patrick Harris Variety Show, Mark-Paul Gosselaar Back In TV … And ‘Heroes: Reborn’! [VIDEOS]

As the biggest shows reach the end of their respective seasons, it's also time for the major networks to announce what's next for the upcoming season of 2015-2016, and the NBC new shows list looks more than interesting - with a few fan favorites making their return!

The NBC new shows list for the next season includes the return of a few fan favorites as well as the small screen debut of a few others, as the network tries to take a piece of the superhero craze going on in all media by savaging its cult favorite show "Heroes" and remaking it.

TV Guide reports that the NBC new shows list has the following six series: "Blindspot," starring Jamie Alexander; "Heartbroken," starring Melissa George; a variety show called "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris;" the remake "Heroes: Reborn" from original show creator Tim Kring; "The Player" with Philip Winchester and the the previously reported "People Are Talking" with former teen star Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, other NBC new shows list a new list of comedies after only one of the ones starring last season ended up getting renewed ("Undateable"). Some of the new offerins include "Superstore" starring America Ferrera, the previously announced revival of beloved show "Coach," an Eva Longoria series called "Hot & Bothered" and "Crowded" - not to mention a new dramedy called "You, Me and the End of the World."

There will also be a new cop drama starring Jennifer Lopez and Drea de Matteo called "Shades of Blue."

The NBC new shows list features a fairly different proposal to what fans are used to, according to Entertainment Weekly, as the network delves into less-known territory with Neil Patrick Harris' new variety show, which will seemingly feature "stunts, skits, pranks, audience interaction, musical numbers, giveaways and unlimited surprises" with the beloved "How I Met Your Mother" star.
