Justin Bieber Lady Gaga: ‘Poker Face’ Star Defends Bieber, Calls Selena Gomez Ex ‘Sweet’ [PHOTO]

Perhaps a meet-up between Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga isn't what the world would expect, but considering the amount of stars walking around last Monday's Met Gala, there's little surprise in seeing two of pop music's biggest stars getting comfortable with each other.

The Met Gala is one of the biggest fashion events of the year, and last Monday featured a wide variety of stars' hits and misses, but it was also time for some of the world's biggest stars to catch up with each other's lives, including Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, who were obviously very comfortable around each other.

Bieber, who dated Selena Gomez for a few years and has since been reported to be with superstars like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" top model Kendall Jenner and singer Ariana Grande, is often featured in "most hated" lists of celebrities, but the latest Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga statement shows that there's at least one major star willing to stick up to him.

According to People Magazine, the singer and up-and-coming actress (as she'll be featured in the next season of "American Horror Story") posted a picture of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga on social media, praising his "sweetness."

"He really has a sweetness to him," the "Applause" singer wrote, captioning the Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga Instagram pic. "He grew up in front of the whole world. I reminded him to not get bothered. Because at the end of the day. He's the boss, and life isn't always Roses. Lots of thorns."

CBC reports that, while the picture and the words attached to it were very sweet, selfies were actually banned from the event by Vogue USA editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, though they weren't the only stars to break the rules, as others included "Scandal" star Kerry Washington, Madonna and Kim Kardashian.

In any case, check out the lovely Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga pic above!
