Lindsey Vonn And Tiger Woods SPLIT: ‘Hectic Lives’ Broke Up Sports Power Couple

Ever since the official announcement of their relationship, Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods have comprised one of the most interesting couples in American sports, but it seems like ultimately their busy schedules were too much for them to handle.

A few years back, Woods' life became the main focus of his career when it came out that he had cheated on his then-wife, Swedish former model Elin Nordegren, with multiple partners; years later, it seemed like he had found stability in the Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods relationship, but the conflicted schedules of the professional golfer and the Olympic skier were putting too much of a strain on them.

According to CNN, the alpine ski racer announced the news of the Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods through her official Facebook page, stating they'd "mutually" decided to end their relationship after having been together for almost three years.

"After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship," said the Olympian, opening up about the Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods breakup. "I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."

USA Today reports that she wasn't the only one speaking about the breakup over the past few days, as the golfer gave a press conference this Tuesday at the Players Champions about his work, and it wasn't long until the Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods topic came out - and Woods admitted to having literally lost sleep over the breakup.

The controversial golfing star also went on record on his own official website to state that, while Vonn was "amazing" to his family and children, ultimately Lindsay Vonn and Tiger Woods were spending too much time apart because of their busy schedules in training and sporting events.
