There's a lot going on these days on the front of superhero movies, with "Age of Ultron" finally getting its domestic theater release and DC Comics promoting its two upcoming superhero films, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and the villain-themed "Suicide Squad" - and now, the world gets to see the Will Smith Deadshot first look!
Only a few days back, Food World News reported that the first official look of Jared Leto's look for the upcoming "Suicide Squad" had been revealed, getting mixed reviews from comic book fans; now, the Will Smith Deadshot first look is getting a similar reception days later.
Vulture reports that the Will Smith Deadshot first look comes from what seems like an in fraganti picture taken on the set, and two separate shots have been linked with the character: one obviously picturing the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" actor in sleek, fashionable clothes while shopping, and the other wearing a helmet most associated with the Batman villain he's playing, though it's unclear whether it was Smith wearing it or if it was an entire character altogether.
Prior to the release of the Will Smith Deadshot first look, pictures of Jada Pinkett-Smith's husband on the set had shown the Oscar-nominated actor looking bald for the role, though it's unclear whether he shaved his head or was wearing a hair piece.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Will Smith Deadshot first look photos, if they're accurate, show the character with a much sleeker look than the way he looks in the comics, where he's usually scruffy.
What Culture reports that the biggest issue with the leaked Will Smith Deadshot first look photos photos isn't so much his choice in clothes but rather his eye, as in the original comics the character basically has a giant, robot laser eye that makes him incredibly accurate, characteristics that seem remarkably absent from Smith's version, with no special effects markers on his face whatsoever.
The photo's not official, so it's unknown whether it's the way they'll be going - and fans are still expecting pictures of other characters, like Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn (who's basically the Joker's clingy girlfriend) or Cara Delevingne's The Enchantress.
Other news of the set have gained fans' attentions, though, as The Daily Mail has reported that someone looking remarkably like Ben Affleck in Batman costume has now appeared on the Toronto set for the David Ayer film, making fans wonder whether there's a scheduled cameo in the film as a tie-in for "Batman v Superman."
In any case, you can watch the Will Smith Deadshot first look photos as well as a couple of Affleck walking into the film's set a couple of days ago ... plus the suspicious-looking pictures of someone who seems to be Batman!
