Contrary to all logic, the five-legged lamb from Wales isn't suffering from any health problems whatsoever, and he was actually born completely healthy and adapting to his extra leg - rapidly becoming viral way past the United Kingdom to turn into a worldwide sensation.
While the newly born five-legged lamb from Wales isn't the first specimen of this nature in the United Kingdom, it's certainly a very rare occurrence - and with YouTube aficionados across the world always looking for the latest new thing, there's no surprise to see that little Jake the Lamb has gained incredible popularity!
According to RT, the five-legged lamb from Wales, who was named Jake from the song "Jake the Peg," was born last April 17 at the Rhiwlas Farm in the British nation, particularly in Powys - and the little animal is completely healthy, eating properly and even playing around, something that has made millions wonder.
The little lamb with an extra limb is as adorable as a baby lamb could possibly be, and it's amazing to see how well he walks (for a "toddler," all things considered) with one extra leg on his body.
UPI reports that, more often than not, when these animals are born with deformities they don't usually lead a very long life, often dying at a very early age, often after only a few hours - but it seems like Jake, the five-legged lamb from Wales, could be an exception to this sad rule.
"He seems really happy, he's feeding well and bouncing around like a normal lamb. He is doing really well," said Bethan Davis, the owner of the five-legged lamb from Wales, when BBC News interviewed her following the birth of the little animal. "We have never had anything like this before, apparently it's really rare."
Davis has stated that she and her family intend to keep Jake as a pet just the way he is, as apparently a surgery would be too dangerous - and you can watch this five-legged lamb from Wales below!
