According to UK's The Mirror, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are living "separate lives" since they tied the knot last September, as their busy schedules haven't allowed them to spend any time together - and it's starting to take a toll on their relationship.
Following their February wedding, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp had to cut their honeymoon short so the actress could go to London to shoot "The Danish Girl" alongside Eddie Redmayne, while the Oscar nominee flew to Australia to film the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie, where he injured his hand.
The New York Post's Page Six reports that time schedules isn't the only reason Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are currently estranged, as it seems there's a third party involved: Io Tillett Wright, a close friend to Heard that has put a strain on her relationship with her new husband.
Wright, an LGBT activist and photographer, is apparently spending a lot of time with the "Magic Mike XXL" actress, which has made Depp uncomfortable - the young star is openly bisexual, having dater another photographer, Tasya van Ree, before starting a relationship with the "Edward Scissorhands" actor.
However, other outlets such as E! Online report that the couple was spotted together recently for the first time since their marriage, looking "very much in love" as they held hands in Brisbane, Australia earlier this week.
Perhaps the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp split is just the newest hot celebrity rumor, after George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin and Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting.
