Ever since the start of the midseason, things have gotten a bit darker in the show about a group of Cal Tech geeks and their partners, as they've dealt with the death of cast member Carol Ann Susi, who played Mrs. Wolowitz - now, step by step, the characters recover, and the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 20 shows some amazing progress.
The relationship between Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) has turned into one of the biggest sources of laughter in the show, as Sheldon tries to keep it completely platonic and Amy really wants something more ... and it seems like in the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 20 they have their first-ever sleepover!
According to International Business Times UK, however, the sleepover in the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 20 remains strictly platonic, though it'll surely be a huge source of laughter as they both try to meet halfway in what they want.
Latin Postf reports that the Shamy situation isn't the only big news in the "Big Bang Theory" season 9 episode 20, however: as the show takes a bigger focus into Howard's life (played by Simon Helberg) following the death of his mother, it appears that he'll get an unexpected family visitor, one he didn't even know he had: his half brother from his father's side.
Howard's half brother, Josh, will be played by Matt Bennett, best known for his role in "Victorious" as well as "Bridesmaids" and "iCarly."
"When Sheldon and Amy build a blanket fort, they come to major crossroads in their relationship," reads the episode's synopsis. "Also, Wolowitz meets the half-brother he never knew he had, and when Penny is invited to appear on Wil Wheaton's podcast, she and Leonard have a huge, on-air argument."
So, even things between Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) are getting difficult in this week's episode - and, according to TV Line, it seems like in a few episodes' time the mothers of both Sheldon (Laurie Metcalf) and Leonard (Christine Baranski) will be making an appearance for the Mother's Day special episode!
