Pizza Hut hard Croutons may award you some money just like a man from Tennessee. However, it is not a raffle draw or freebies that Pizza Hut is giving away. Everett Chatman had won a case against the pizza company after his partial denture broke when he munched Pizza Hut hard Croutons.
Chatman had won a case against Pizza Hut after he filed a case against the Harriman, Tennessee restaurant for serving him excessively crispy croutons that shattered his personalized partial denture, the Dose reports. Chatman received $2,400 (£1,600) for winning the case against Pizza Hut hard Croutons.
"We tried to work it out with their insurance company, but they never wanted to talk. So we went ahead and filed," Everett Chatman attorney, Mark Foster told to Roane County News. Chatman sued the company for damages and injuries.
Pizza Hut franchise denied to pay the damages at the start and had not cooperated so Chatman was forced to file the case and hire his own lawyer for Pizza Hut hard Croutons. It was reported that the man from Tennessee filed against the Pizza Hut franchise, American Huts Inc.
This could be a great call to all the restaurants and fast foods to be careful of what they're serving. Obviously, no one could ever think that Pizza Hut hard Croutons could costs more than its price. Aside from the award money that he received, Chatman's court costs will also be reimbursed with interest.
The story of the man who filed a case against Pizza Hut hard Croutons was reported by WBIR Channel 10 to its Facebook page.
In March, Aamana Khan, 14, and her mother, Sobia, 38, made shocking discovery after finding a jagged tip of a knife blade on the pizza they ordered at Pizza Hut. The mother-daughter did not complain and did not file a case.
The pizza company restaurant in UK gave a refund and retrieved the pizza with the sharp knife. The franchise released a stamen explaining that the object did not come from their restaurant.
"This is not acceptable and does not meet our high standards of food preparation. We are reviewing this with our Hut team to ensure this isolated incident does not happen again," the statement reads.
"We apologise to Ms. Khan and her family unreservedly and are extremely thankful that no physical harm was caused. Our customer care team is currently liaising with Ms. Khan to resolve this matter."
With Pizza Hut rounds of cases concerning their products, Pizza Hut hard Croutons and Pizza Hut tip of a knife blade found on pizza could put them in bad limelight. Perhaps, the pizza company could learn more on these happenings.
