Full House Reunion Series Supposedly In The Making, Netflix Embarks On New Nostalgia Reboot

In the past, fans all over the world have been greatly amused every time the cast of the 90s show appears together, like they have in recent times recently, as they seemingly all keep in touch with each other - so much so that there are new reports of a "Full House" reunion series.

Slowing, Netflix is on the road to becoming the king of reboots: recently, the streaming giant released a new "Inspector Gadget" cartoon; there are also plans for a new Pee-Wee Herman movie from the same website, and now there's also the possibility of a "Full House" reunion series that'd see the Tanner house reunited once again.

In the past few months, Food World News has reported a few "Full House" reunion series-related news; in late January, the cast of the show (minus the Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley) came together and sang the show's theme song at the birthday of Jeff Franklin, the show's creator; then, in March, it was reported that John Stamos had posted a picture of himself on Instagram in front of the iconic San Francisco Tanner home, completely unseen by fans visiting the TV landmark.

Now, this week TV Line reported the exclusive story of a "Full House" reunion series of 13 new episodes, as seemingly the website is teaming up with Franklin to bring back the cast of the beloved ABC family show that launched the careers of Bob Saget, the Olsen twins and John Stamos.

However, reception for the possibility of a new "Full House" reunion series hasn't been altogether positive: Time Magazine asked whether this move was necessary at all, saying it was "too much" of what one wants; in the meantime, Vanity Fair said that the reboot was "the worst kind of nostalgia."

Both articles referred to the fact that the show hasn't aged as well as creators would have hoped and that the show, originally aimed at young children, would now be targeted for nostalgic millennials.

In any case, the "Full House" reunion series has yet to be confirmed - and it's unknown whether all the original cast members would be returning for it.
