Ever since the official announcement that Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney were engaged and even more so since their star-studded wedding last fall in Venice, Italy, the world's eyes have been set on the couple formed by a Lebanese-British human rights barrister and one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood.
Ever since the two of them got together, rumors about Amal Clooney and George Clooney have been flying about, as gossip columns say they're near divorce or that she's pregnant, although the couple has refused to address the rumors over and over again, as the barrister takes on some major cases such as defending the Armenian State or teaching at Columbia University.
Now, it's happy times for Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney according to news outlets such as Us Weekly, as the famous couple takes on new renovations for their Berkshire home, which they bought last year after their wedding and have spent a massive amount of money on ever since.
The Daily Mail reports that the Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney house, or rather manor, is a 9,000 square-foot Georgian home with nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and they bought it last year at £10 million, which is almost $15 million.
Though the complex already has a wine cellar, a steam room, its own gym, a library and a spa, the couple's plans include making it even bigger and cozier, including a few new features for their love nest.
Reports say that Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney also plan on getting a strong room (known as a panic room, something they need due to the fact that the house's location leaves them exposed and the barrister often faces high profile and controversial personalities), a grand terrace, a new swimming pool and, of course, a large private cinema for the actor, screenwriter and director.
Currently, Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney aren't living in the house, as it's going through heavy renovations - but as it already looks beautiful, we can't imagine how it'll be after they restore it to its former glory!
