Burger King Perfume Is REAL And It’ll Make You Smell Like A Whopper [PHOTO+VIDEO]

It seems like the Asian franchises of the biggest food chains in the world always get the most fun (or the most random) promos, and the Burger King perfume has come to make a statement and raise the bar even higher after products like the infamous Black Burger released late last year.

It's unlikely that anyone ever missed a Burger King perfume in their lives, but it seems markets like the ones in Japan and Korea always demand things to be more and more absurd, as the Japan has already seen the birth of things like KFC tech hardware like fried chicken computer keyboards and USB sticks.

According to Geek.com, the Burger King perfume was recently announced at the country's franchise, as they stated that the fragrance would be a limited edition only available on April 1st, prompting many to wonder whether this is only an April Fools' joke, though it seems unlikely since they've announced it days before.

According to Evening Standard, April 1st is Whopper Day for the US-based company (though they're now moving to Canada for tax purposes), and so it somewhat makes sense that they're choosing to release a Burger King perfume, though it's fair to wonder who'd like to walk around smelling like a hamburger, no matter how delicious Whoppers might be.

The odd-smelling fragrance will be sold for 5,000 yen, which is about $41,7, so it's certainly not cheap - however, users who purchase the perfume will get a flame-grilled Whopper along with it.

Officially called "Flame Grilled," the Burger King perfume's smell will be that of tomatoes, onions, mayonnaise, lettuce, beef and even fries. The kind of smell that makes you hungry, certainly, but not necessarily how you want to smell for work or a big date.

The Burger King perfume is currently being advertised in the country with a ridiculously funny-sounding line: "No Whopper, No Life: Wear It & Have It."
