Robert Durst Wife Disappearance & Death Finally Solved! Robert Durst Taken Into Custody By FBI After Three Decades

Robert Durst wife disappearance and murder are now finally close after Real estate scion Robert Durst was arrested by the FBI on Saturday at the New Orleans Hotel in a Marriott on Canal Street. Hiding under the name Everett Ward, for the son of a prominent real estate mogul, the night has ended.

Robert Durst wife Kathleen Durst, vanished three decades ago in 1982. She, a dental hygienist was married to Robert in 1973. The two stayed in Vermont and lived while managing a food store. However, Robert Durst moved back to New York to manage their family business.

Kathleen Durst was last seen on Jan. 31, 1982 after she spent the weekend in Westchester County. Reports revealed that Robert was already dating Prudence Farrow when she disappeared. Her disappearance became a big question for the media and for the authorities.

Kathleen Durst case was reopened and on Dec.24, 2000, a close friend of Robert, Susan Berman was found dead through what authorities claim as 'execution style.'

Robert Durst became main suspect for Robert Durst wife disappearance and the murder of Berman, however he was never convicted, Washington Post reports.

Following the disappearance of Robert Durst wife, New York Times cited that Robert had so many run-ins with the law where he was jailed for various cases.  His life has become tumultuous. He sued his brother for $65 million share of the family fortune, remarried and cut ties with his family.

What's shocking was as he was jailed many times for different criminal offenses, he remained innocent and had enjoyed his freedom for many years.

Robert Durst wife case now solved? The man hiding under the name Everett Ward, was captured Saturday, a day before a six-part HBO documentary about him, "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst" was shown.

As Robert Durst was arrested, his younger brother Douglas, 70, expressed his relief for the capture of his brother. He stated they were relieved and grateful to everyone who assisted in arresting his brother. He finished by saying that he hoped he will be held accountable for all he has done.

Kathie Durst's brother James McCormack, 70, has also stated his relief to New York Daily News on Sunday after arrest of Robert Durst. He said it's been 33 years of agony, pain and suffering for their family. Now he hopes that he won't escape conviction after Robert Durst wife was murdered.

Former Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro forecasted "the jig is up" for Durst.

Pirro, who led the charge to reopen the Kathie Durst investigation, tweeted Sunday that Robert Durst pushed the envelope, and now the envelope may convict him. In the end, justice wins.

Robert Durst wife disappearance and murder, killing of Susan Berman and dismembering a 71-year-old neighbor in Galveston, Texas are now finally sealed. On Sunday, in the final episode of the documentary, the 71-year-old confessed what he has been hiding for three decades.

Durst was off-camera, and while in a bathroom, he talked to himself. "There it is, you're caught," he said. "... What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course."

Now there will be justice for Robert Durst wife and the two women, who had become victims of Robert Durst.
