Vince Gilligan Pizza: ‘Breaking Bad’ Creator Says Throwing Pizza At Walter White Albuquerque Home Is ‘Not Funny’ [AUDIO+VIDEO]

Ever since "Breaking Bad" started airing, the show about a high school chemistry teacher who turns into a drug lord gained a large and loyal fanbase, and those who love the show have taken to visit many of its locations in Albuquerque, New Mexico - so much that there's now a Vince Gilligan pizza issue about it.

"Caballo Sin Nombre," the second episode of the third season of the show, featured Walter White (Bryan Cranston) throwing a pizza pie in rage to the ceiling of his old home after his wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) wouldn't let him in ... and, now, Vince Gilligan's pizza statement makes it clear that he wasn't the only one to do this.

According to AV Club, Vince Gilligan's pizza statement was made public earlier this week, during "Better Call Saul Insider," an audio podcast about the new AMC "Breaking Bad" spinoff hosted by Kelley Dixon, the editor of the show, as they were discussing what was happening in the new series starring "Breaking Bad" regulars Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks.

The Huffington Post reports that the whole thing came about as Gilligan, the creator of both shows, spoke about how fans were behaving in the Albuquerque house that was used for the exterior shots of Walter and Skyler's home: according to Vince Gilligan, pizza is regularly thrown at the home's ceiling by fans, obviously making the inhabitants greatly uncomfortable.

"Let me tell ya, there is nothing original, funny, or cool about throwing pizzas on the roof," was Vince Gilligan's pizza comment, according to Time Magazine, as he took a small moment to talk about this issue. "It's just not funny. It's been done before. You're not the first."

Gilligan isn't the only one angry at the whole situation: Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut in both shows, says that if they saw anyone doing this he'd hunt them down.

Of course, ultimately, the Internet did find the whole thing very funny - and Vince Gilligan's pizza comments even more so.
