Cindy Crawford Photo ‘Unretouched’ Could Actually Be Fake [PHOTO]

A few weeks ago, a Cindy Crawford photo made headlines all over the world as a supposedly un-Photoshopped picture of the supermodel was leaked to the media, showing the 49 year-old woman's real boy after having two children; now, it turns out that the picture might be a fake.

The Cindy Crawford photo was hailed for giving women over 40 a chance to show off they could be beautiful and sexy even without being airbrushed, as the picture from a Marie Claire shoot leaked to the Internet and became a worldwide sensation, with people all over the globe celebrating the model's real body.

Now, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, the man who actually took the famous Cindy Crawford photo has stated that, in fact, the so-called "unretouched" image of the model is actually an altered version, and that in fact the model's figure looks nothing like how it's portrayed there.

As Yahoo! News reports, the Cindy Crawford photo became viral a few weeks ago, when the surprising image was leaked after a supposedly retouched version became the cover of Marie Claire Mexico in 2013; the amazing thing about the picture was how Crawford looked far from having a perfect body in it, which many thought was inspiring as it showed the real body of a 49 year-old woman, with the ulterior message that even supermodels age and that doesn't make them any less beautiful.

"It has been falsely claimed that this photograph represents an unretouched image of Cindy Crawford," read the statement of John Russo, the man behind the camera in the Cindy Crawford photo, according to The Independent. "This is not true. It is a fraudulent altered version of my photograph. I am grateful that this fact has been brought to the public's attention and that corrections are being run in the media."

It's difficult to know how did the original Cindy Crawford photo look, though the air may be cleared at some point.
