Steve Buscemi ‘Last Week Tonight’ Joins John Oliver And Edward Norton On Sexy Subject: Infrastructure [VIDEO]

Ever since John Oliver's HBO late night talk show premiered last spring, it has become a worldwide sensation, as the "Daily Show" alum makes insightful and hilarious remarks and analysis about current world events - including his latest masterpiece, the new Steve Buscemi "Last Week Tonight" appearance.

Of course, it's not the first time that the world sees Steve Buscemi on "Last Week Tonight," as the Golden Globe winner already appeared once on John Oliver's show to tap dance during an ending monologue about Dr. Mahmet Oz - but now he takes on a new challenge in the late night show!

According to Hollywood Reporter, the latest Steve Buscemi "Last Week Tonight" appearance happened as the show's host talked about infrastructure on last Sunday's show, speaking about how the Highway Trust Fund is about to expire next May 31 unless Congress savages it, due to the fact that it's currently bankrupt.

Deadline reports that, in his monologue, Oliver spoke that infrastructure was basically "anything that can be destroyed in an action movie," something that includes bridges, roads, overpasses and levies, something that has been widely ignored by politicians and could mean the literal collapse of the country's constructions, which is what he was trying to push forward with Steve Buscemi's "Last Week Tonight" appearance.

As Time Magazine reports, Oliver realizes how dull it is to talk about infrastructure during a half-hour show, so he decided to up the ante by making it something worth talking about, as he spoke that the topic wasn't "sexy" enough because there hadn't been a movie speaking about how important infrastructure actually is ... that is, until Steve Buscemi's "Last Week Tonight" trailer, advertising a movie about infrastructure.

Of course, it's not only Steve Buscemi's "Last Week Tonight" trailer, as recent Oscar nominee Edward Norton also takes part in the whole thing, along with "Full Metal Jacket" actor Vincent D'Onofrio, Hope Davis, Campbell Scott and many others - watch it below!
