Rajon Rondon Has a Dispute with Dallas Mavericks Coach Rick Carlisle

Coach Rick Carlisle of Dallas Mavericks angrily sent one of his players, Rajon Rondo, back to the bench last Tuesday, February 24, 2015, the time when the team had a game versus the Raptors. Rondo was benched guard after they shouted to each other.

The team won by 99-92 over the Raptors, however, in the 3rd quarter, Coach Rick stormed out on the basketball court and called for a break and he shouted at Rajon Rondo who seemed to be indifferent in what his coach is asking while he raised the ball up the ground. According to BallerStatus, Rajon shouted back to his coach and an exchange of words followed. Rajon Rondo was forced by his coach to remain in the bench throughout the game.

In the interview, Carlisle said that it was a game full of emotions and they have a disparity of points of views. He also added that there was a verbal exchange and within his mind, this was over." In twenty five games for the team, Ranjon Rondo earned 9.0 points, 2.9 turnovers and 6.2 assists. He was suspended and he missed the night game on Wednesday that will be held in Atlanta. The team did not commented after the statement revealing that Rondo is under suspension.

According to Boston Herald, Ranjon Rondo was commanded to remain on the bench for the last few minutes of the 3rd quarter of the game. Carlisle called for a break with anger shown in his face and he had a verbal exchange with Rondo while the coach stands several feet away from where the player stood. Dallas Mavericks obtained Rondo in the trade together with Boston that happened in December. He missed 6 games for this month after he got a fractured bone that is located close to his left eye.
