LeBron's Sponsorship Slips Up

LeBron James came a long way in the face of the public since his TV special in 2010 revealing that he will be moving to South Beach. He got his second NBA title in June and his jersey is the best seller of the NBA. LeBron nabbed the Sportsman of Sports Illustrated of the Year honor for year 2012 after he won a 3rd MVY award and led Miami Heat to a title and the Olympic team of the US to a gold medal in the city of London.

According to Forbes, the success clearly cemented his spot as the top earner outside the court with income from the endorsements worth $42 million every year from the likes of Upper Deck, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Dunkin Donuts and Audemars Piguet. The said website also added that LeBron James used the money he earned for endorsing those companies throughout the past year to fund his own wedding, a high school gymnasium and the uniforms for his beloved Alma Mater, St. Vincent - St. Mary High School in Ohio.

Another issue today in which LeBron James is also involved is the scene wherein he took a small jab at McDonalds when someone asked his regarding his nutrition and his health. LeBron James momentarily slipped up and he shades McDonalds prior he remembered that he had a sponsorship deal with them.

Today, LeBron James faced a problem with regard to his endorsements of Samsung as he put his sponsor into shame. According to My Customer, the NBA superstar sent out a tweet to his millions of followers on Twitter and he announced that his mobile phone crashed and erased all of his information. It is not a secret to everybody that his phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and that is the phone he endorses in exchange of a fee to be paid by the company, Samsung.
