Denying that it's a publicity act, Madonna suffered a whiplash after she fell off the stage during Brit Awards and told that her Armani cape was very tight since choreographers didn't want the cape to plunge.
The prestigious Brits Awards was held in O2 Arena in London where Madonna fell of the stage while performing. According to The Guardian article post, the star has exposed she suffered a whiplash due to Brits fall. After the incident, Madonna made a "viral hit online" describing the incident like a "horror show" while saying that she would no more wear a cape.
"I could either be strangled or fall, and I chose to fall," she said during Jonathan Ross Show on ITV. "I didn't hurt my butt, but I hurt my head. I had a little bit of whiplash, I smacked the back of my head. I had a man standing over me with a flashlight until about 3am to make sure I was compos mentis," she added.
The backup dancers of Madonna wearing demon costumes were shocked right before the star rose to continue the show. The gaffe happened when the "Queen of Pop" is ending up the Brits ceremony. Meanwhile, right after the awards, she posted via her Instagram account saying that, "Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine!"
On BBC news, Madonna recovered and ended up her controversial performance, which was actually the final show for the "Brit Awards". Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran won the biggest prizes. The Material Girl even said that she will no longer recreate the performance for her upcoming tour concerning the "cape fear".
The incident doubled her Spotify streams overnight after her "Brits fall".
