The Creed is another must watch upcoming movie this November 25. Creed as the full thrust of Rocky VII will be starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. The filming is still underway where the director/writer Ryan Coogler spin-off Creed and the new synopsis have been released. According to IMDB news, the spin-off Creed sounds more like Rocky VII as described in Warner and MGM's press releases. Thus, the new film looks like the continuation of the Rocky story.
Michael Jordan will be playing the main character "Adonis Johnson" who has never knew his father, Apollo Creed, the famous world heavyweight champion, who had died before he was born. Adonis, with boxing in his blood heads to Philadelphia and trained under Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), the famous rival of his father and later becomes is friend. Rocky refuses first to train Adonis as he insist that he is out of the fight for good but seeing Adonis determination and strength he has with like his father, Apollo, Rocky agreed to train the young fighter. The original Creed was played by Carl Weathers were it has served as the big rival of Rocky in its first two films.
SlashFilm post suggests that Rocky is sick and perhaps with Parkinson's syndrome or cancer, which has badly affected Muhammed Ali since the 80's. Many ask if it is Rocky's last appearance on the screen and people can only find out when the Creed opens on theater this coming November 25, 2015. The Creed will be directed by Ryan Coogler. Ryan also wrote Movie script together with Aaron Covington. Stallone along with Kevin King Templeton, Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff will be producing the film. The Creed's casts include Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed, Stallone as Rocky, Tessa Thompson (Selma), Phylicia Rashad and Graham McTavish.
