Following the heartbreaking last episode which featured a heavy storyline of Mrs. Wolowitz passing away (after Carol Ann Susi, the actress who voiced Howard's mom, lost her battle to cancer late last year), "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16 will feature something else altogether: a love experiment.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16 will be called "The Intimacy Acceleration," and the love experiment isn't between any of the already-formed couples, but rather between Sheldon Cooper and Penny, who have one of the most dynamic and hilarious relationships in the whole series.
Latin Post reports that the episode from last week, "The Comic Book Store Regeneration," revolved almost entirely around Mrs. Wolowitz, as she was the one who helped Stuart (Kevin Sussman) rebuild his comic book store, making Howard (Simon Helberg) all kinds of awkward in the process.
In the meantime, the third storyline of last week's episode showed Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) absolutely furious at Sheldon and Amy (respectively played by Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik) after discovering they'd experimented with them, comparing them to monkeys - but it seems "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16 will also feature some scientific experimenting!
According to The International Business Times UK, "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16 will see the two big characters go through an experiment designed to make participants fall in love with each other, all while most of the gang try to escape a ... zombie?
As The International Business Times India reports, "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16 will see Amy and Leonard joining Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and his new girlfriend, Emily (Laura Spencer), as the four of them attempt to escape a room where there's a member of the living dead - which is to say, a zombie!
CarterMatt reports that, "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 16, on a more serious note, will feature the Wolowitzes (Howard and his wife Bernadette, played by Melissa Rauch) leaving Mrs. Wolowitz' funeral.
