Madonna Brit Awards performance this year will be unforgettable. As she performs on stage singing "Living for Love," the pop star fell on stairs when a backup dancer pulls her cape. However, Madonna Brit Awards didn't stop from there. The 56-year-old pop icon stood up and continued her performance.
It was Madonna Brit awards second time performance On Wednesday. The last time was 20 years ago. Her "Living for Love" song was so eye catching that everyone watching even thought that her tumble was part of the orchestrated dance manouvre as the lyrics goes "I let down my guard, I fell into your arms."
Madonna was at the centre of the stage as she sang lines of her song "Living for Love" when she tried to remove the cape. As part of the choreographed dance, a dancer will pull her cape, but the next scene left the pop icon fell backwards from stage.
Madonna was partly hidden by the dancers until she came back again and finished her song. Right after Madonna Brit Awards performance, the 56-year-old diva took to Instagram her explanation to what happened.
She said her Armani cape was tied too tight but nothing can stop her and love really lifted her up while saying she's fine.
Of course the awkward scene where Madonna slipped steps on the stairs will not be missed by online bashers. She was the butt of the jokes as some poked fun when Madonna Brit Awards performance made her stumble. It created hashtags #MadonnaAtTheBrits.
