Katy Perry Taylor Swift Feud Continues, Will ‘Dark Horse’ Singer Bash ‘Shake It Off’ Star In New Album?

Though they were once BFFs, something happened between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift (reportedly some kind of boy-related issue) and they've been entirely unable to stand each other ever since, with Swift even performing her trademark trick of writing a song about the "Hot 'N Cold" singer ... and it seems things will continue being bad for the two pop princesses.

While details of the issues between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are mostly unknown, one thing is certain, as The Mirror reports: they've got another tiny cause for beef now, after Swift just took home an award a year after Perry had it for herself: winning Woman of the Year at the Elle Style Awards.

According to Christian Post, it seems the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift conflict remains for one reason alone: the "I Kissed a Girl" singer. Reports say that the blonde country-singer-turned-pop-star has reached out to her former friend on several occasions to try to make things right, even making peace with Perry's ex DJ Diplo (after he went on social media to suggest the creation of a Kickstarter to get her "a booty"), but it seems Perry just isn't interested in rebuilding her relationship with Swift.

"Taylor's tried to reach out to make amends with Katy, but Katy is not going to accept it nor is she interested in having a friendship with Taylor," a source told Hollywood Life regarding the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift conflict. "She wants nothing to do with Taylor. In Katy's mind, Taylor shouldn't even attempt to make a friendship happen. That ship has sailed."

In the meantime, The Inquisitr reports that the brunette is already writing tracks for her new album, and apparently she's planning on taking the same route as her former friend, and will be making a song about the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift feud.

Ever since Swift's song "Bad Blood" came out, the media has been wondering whether it's about a break-up in the former Katy Perry and Taylor Swift friendship - and apparently, things have been getting progressively worse.
