NBA Today: Portland Trail Blazers Win Over Memphis Grizzlies

Two of NBA's best teams squared off as Trail Blazers of Portland and Grizzlies of Memphis face the each other's challenge. The Grizzlies came back after they were trailed by about 13 during the second half of the game. They knocked off the Trail Blazers with 98-92.

These two huge teams moved for a position in Western Conference in the past month in the regular season. Portland had temporarily pulled ahead with some runs at different points all throughout the second half of the game.

According to Bleacher Report, Terry Scotts of Portland Trail Blazers met a dilemma with the absence of LaMarcus Aldridge due to thumb injury, but with Arron Afflalo, a newcomer. Dorell Wright and Meyers Leonard worked together to make plausible defense against Zach Randolph. Their combined score is 20 points.

Afflalo seemed to get traded, but in this season, it was given to Portland. The Memphis Grizzlies did the same move when they had Jeff Green of Boston Celtics. This guy rounded out the team's starting line up and enhanced the offensive attack. There have been several stunning individual matchups in the games, according to Rant Sports. The first matchup is Damian Lillard and Mike Conley who were both overlooked in terms of top point guards. They got different styles while playing on the court.

Another remarkable matchup was Zach Randolph and LaMarcus Aldridge. Rant Sports described this matchup as a "matchup nightmare" for any team in the league. Randolph's shot was errant on that night. He got 7 shoots out of 18 attempts and finished with 15 points.

Currently, Portland Trail Blazers got 6 wins since January 1 and it will be off until Sunday as it about to host the San Antonio Spurs. On Monday, The Grizzlies will be traveling to Staples Center to face Los Angeles Clippers.
