Lady Gaga perfectly sang the Sound of Music at the prestigious 2015 Oscars with a twist last Sunday (February 22) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The famous singer looked stunningly gorgeous while delivering an ultimate performance in front of the crowd.
She gave honor to The Sound of Music, a classic film, by singing song medleys from the popular musical film. Gaga at the 2015 Oscars beautifully sang the songs like The Sound of Music, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, My Favorite Things and a lot more. Right after performing, Julie Andrews came out the stage "for a surprise appearance" while presenting the next category.
Lady Gaga shined at the Oscars while showing her perfect musical chops of the classic medleys. Julie Andrews even thanked the 28-year old singer for delivering such sweet rendition while saying it actually warmed her heart. Prior to her performance, Gaga shared some of her photos behind the scenes while prepping up of the most anticipated event of the year. Week before, she wrote a post on her Instagram account saying, "Rehearsal is a beautiful sacred space for the performer. To go deeper and deeper. So excited for Sunday".
A picture shared by Gaga with Dawn Hudson, Academy CEO, who visited her during the rehearsal to show her some support. Indeed, Gaga stunned the crowd with her twist of The Sound of Music while sharing the fantastic moment with various film stars as well as viewers from around the world.
Despite of Gaga's previous image she has contributed to the music industry in Hollywood, she was proud to have her heart blessed with her special performance during the awards night. The singer has been engaged to Taylor Kinney last Valentine's day and both are happy to be with each other as they take the path to the marrying age.
