Michael Phelps Engaged: Olympic Swimmer Proudly Announced Engagement With Former Miss California, Congratulations To Soon-To-Be Mr. & Mrs. Phelps!

Michael Phelps engaged officially! 22-time gold medalist Michael Phelps has announced his engagement to former Miss California 2010 through his social media account. His fiancée, Nicole Johnson likewise posted photos showing her glaring huge engagement ring with her soon-to-be husband.

The two have been dating since 2007 and this time after their riotous relationship, they will be finally together as lifetime partners.  Michael Phelps engaged news came out after he posted a picture of them while cuddling and rolling in the snow with caption, "she said yes!" in his Twitter and Instagram.

On Sunday, the future Mrs. Phelps also posted a photo of them on her Instagram account with caption, "I'm gonna be a Mrs." tagging her long-time boyfriend's name. The photos they posted were taken by Phelps teammate and training partner, Allison Schmitt. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Phelps!

Michael Phelps engaged announcement comes before the Olympian swimmer finished his six month suspension for his second time DUI arrest, according to ESPN.  Phelps was arrested on Sept.30.

He went for a 45-day inpatient treatment in Arizona and also had enrollment in Alcoholics Anonymous in Maryland. His suspension ends on March 6 and he will be returning to compete in April.

Everyone is rejoicing for Michael Phelps engaged to Johnson news. Phelps sister can't hide her excitement as she also posted a photo with caption, "Sisters!! It's official!! A huge congratulations (and a ton of love) to these two ( @nicole.m.johnson +@m_phelps00) on their engagement."

Earlier, Michael Phelps was involved in a controversy where a transgender named Taylor Lianne Chandler allegedly claimed close encounter and relationship with the Olympian swimmer.  The scandalous rumors came out while Phelps was in his rehab stint according to Food World News.

Now that Michael Phelps engaged to Nicole Johnson was official, this signals that there won't be anything now hindering their forthcoming wedding. For now, all we can say is Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Phelps!
