Peanuts Almonds Cumin Scandal, Cumin Changed For Peanuts And Almonds In India

Food allergies related to nuts are amongst the most lethal in the world, so people who cannot consume this type of food must be extra careful to prevent serious injuries - but it seems like things have been made harder now, in the latest peanuts and almonds cumin scandal, as the country has been adding the nuts to their cumin exports.

A few days ago, Food World News reported a few allergy-related issues, as bakery giant Pepperidge Farm recalled thousands of its bagels because there was danger that they'd been contaminated with peanuts and almonds; also, the FDA recently warned about the purity of different dark chocolate bars, asking those allergic to it to be careful; however, there have been no such ethics in the peanuts and almonds cumin scandal recently.

According to the UK newspaper The Independent, it seems like the peanuts and almonds cumin scandal is actually way worse than the horsemeat crisis of 2013, which saw Europe in a halt after different types of meat proved to have horse DNI, an animal that, while is not fatal to consumption, is considered a taboo food in many countries, including the United Kingdom and Ireland, and both of these countries were victims of the scandal.

However, Isle of Man Today claims that the current peanuts and almonds cumin scandal is much worse at its core, because it doesn't only include changing a meal for another: it could also potentially prove terrible to millions of people suffering from food allergies, in symptoms that can be as mild as rashes and as critical as downright cardiac arrest - which, of course, can prove to be lethal.

According to Yahoo! News UK, it seems like the core of the peanuts and almonds cumin scandal is that products that are supposed to only contain the spice have been proven to also have doses of the aforementioned nuts.

While there's further investigation, the UK's Food Standards Agency has recalled several products related to the peanuts and almonds cumin scandal.
