For months now, it's been widely reported that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift absolutely hate each other, after having been close pals for a while; now, it seems there was a huge boy-related issue between them and they can't stand each other, so, did the two mega pop stars talk at the Grammys?
It's clear that both Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were at the Grammy Awards last Sunday, as they were both nominated and Perry even performed, a week after her massively successful Super Bowl halftime show - but how far are the two singers willing to go to ignore each other?
Pretty far, it seems: according to Hollywood Life, both Katy Perry and Taylor Swift went to great extents not to meet up during the award ceremony nor any of the after parties, even though they were all basically in the same places. It seems the avoiding strategy was simple: Katy was at a party and, as soon as she found out Taylor was on the way there, she bolted right out of the place!
That wasn't all, though. US Weekly reports that Katy Perry and Taylor Swift literally crossed paths during the ceremony, as Katy actually walked right past Taylor's seat during the show - but the "1989" singer basically just stared into her cellphone as any normal girl would do when she was desperately avoiding someone.
Swift is famous for writing songs about her exes, including John Mayer, who also dated Perry for a while. Swift wrote the song "Dear John" about her time with the "Your Body is a Wonderland" singer, asking him if he didn't think she was "too young to be missed with."
According to The Mirror, Swift later did the same about Perry, writing a song called "Bad Blood" in which she accused the "Roar" singer of making a "real deep cut" on her.
It is unclear what exactly went down between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, but they're definitely not looking forward to meeting up and talking about it - or even looking at each other if they can avoid it!
