It's a joyous time at the Ross-Simpson house now that Ashlee Simpson's pregnant, and the little family couldn't be happier, including iconic superstar grandmother Diana Ross, who recently made news herself after selling out tickets to her latest show in Brooklyn, where she asked Ashlee and Evan to join her for a rendition of the cult classic song "I Will Survive."
According to E! Online, after the announcement that Ashlee Simpson's pregnant with her first child with Evan a while back, the singer and actress is actually five months along now, and wanted to know the sex of the baby from day one, since she wanted to decorate the nursery by herself - reportedly even bringing sister Jessica along for the ride, as she's no stranger to having little girls around the house, with daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson having been born in 2012.
In any case, The Daily Mail reports that Ashlee Simpson's pregnant news came out just last Thursday, as the couple was spotted together at the Crayola Color Alive launch in New York City, at the Open House Gallery - where they hung out with Ashlee's six year-old boy Bronx, who she had in a previous marriage to Pete Wentz and was having a blast with all the coloring at the event.
Ashlee and Evan were actually the hosts of the Crayola event, so all the more fun to little Bronx!
According to People Magazine, Ashlee found out she was expecting their baby girl on their way to Thanksgiving last November, which made the holiday all the more sweet for the family - and now that Ashlee Simpson's pregnant, it means R&B queen Diana Ross will become a grandmother!
