Val Kilmer 2015: ‘Batman Forever’ Actor Has Cancer But Won’t Get Treatment – Because Of Religion

A new report has come out that Val Kilmer's 2015 is starting with the actor surrounded with concerns, as his family members are worried that he's letting himself die by refusing to get treatment for a tumor due to the fact that his faith doesn't allow him to.

The actor, who has been on the Hollywood radar for about two decades and is famous for roles like "Top Gun" and even playing Bruce Wayne himself in "Batman Forever," seems to be going through a secret health ordeal, and, in case he continues the same attitude towards his illness, family members fear that Val Kilmer's 2015 could be his last year.

According to an exclusive report by TMZ, Val Kilmer's 2015 finds him in serious health danger, after the actor was recently rushed to a hospital after bleeding from his throat; he was operated immediately and the doctors who treated him found a tumor ... that he doesn't wish to treat.

According to The New York Post's Page Six, the Val Kilmer 2015 situation is only new to the doctors treating him this week, as the "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" actor has been aware of the situation since the past summer, according to some of his closest family members.

As The Daily Mail reports, Kilmer has been a devout Christian Scientist throughout his entire life, even being educated in a religious school in his youth. His religion doesn't believe in medical treatment, but rather that illnesses can be cured through the power of prayer.

"Thank you for all your sweet support," Kilmer wrote on his personal Facebook page, dealing with the rumors. "But I have not had a tumor, or tumor operations, or any operation," he continued. "I had a complication where the best way to receive care was to stay under the watchful eye of the (UCLA) ICU."

Hopefully, the Val Kilmer 2015 rumors are nothing more than that.
