In a post Super Bowl performance that sold out the entirety of its tickets only minutes after beginning sales, the Jimmy Fallon show right after the Patriots win last Sunday featured some truly epic lip syncing from the SNL alum - and even a guest star appearance by "Charlie's Angels" star Drew Barrymore!
In the latest Jimmy Fallon show last Sunday, there were a few of the players that had just won the Super Bowl attending, like Danny Amendola, LeGarrette Blount and Brandon LaFell, but the focus may have not been entirely on the New England Patriots but rather on the hilarious host of "The Tonight Show," as he brightened up the big sports night even more.
According to Star Tribune, the post Super Bowl Jimmy Fallon show last Sunday was one of the hottest events in town: the tickets actually sold out less than three minutes after they were first posted, with over 42,000 people trying out for the 1,300 seats of the venue in the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix.
As Time Magazine reports, the hilarious Jimmy Fallon show featured the comedian in an epic lip-syncing battle with SNL buddy Will Ferrell along with Kevin Hart, with Barrymore appearing later on as a surprise guest star.
The Daily Mail reports that the lip-syncing battle included iconic pop culture songs like Idina Menzel's "Let it Go" from the popular Disney film "Frozen," the Beyoncé hit "Drunk in Love," a song by the halftime show artist Katy Perry, "Roar," and of course John Legend's "All Of Me" - in other words, at least three performers from the night were represented, as Legend sang "America the Beautiful" and Menzel did the national anthem in the Super Bowl.
However, the big highlight of the Jimmy Fallon show was an 80s classic, as he ñip-synced and hilariously danced to the "Dirty Dancing" classic song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" with Drew Barrymore!
