Following the Hannibal Buress stand-up routine last October where he pointed out that the "Cosby Show" iconic comedian had been covering up rape charges against him for decades, now the last person to speak out about the major sex scandal is Roseanne Barr on Bill Cosby, as she states that nobody in Hollywood was surprised to hear it.
While the world may have been shocked to find out about the many allegations against the groundbreaking comedian, Roseanne Barr's Bill Cosby opinion is quite different from that of the rest of the globe, as she's convinced a good portion of Tinsel Town was already aware of what was going on with Cosby.
As Food World News reported just a few days back, the latest news regarding the Cosby scandal was that Cindra Ladd, a retired Hollywood executive and the wife of Alan Ladd, Jr., wrote an op-ed on The Huffington Post detailing the fact that, when she was just a young woman of 21, Cosby had sexually assaulted her in New York City; but Roseanne Barr's Bill Cosby comments make it obvious that she wasn't at all shocked by this.
According to Time Magazine, Roseanne Barr's Bill Cosby comments appeared in a recent interview, where the actress stated that she wasn't surprised at the allegations due to the fact that just about everyone in Hollywood knows at least one person that has been affected by this issue; for now, about two dozen women have spoken out about being abused by the iconic comedian, including supermodels Janice Dickinson and Beverly Johnson.
"No, because like everybody else -- now I'm really in trouble - but, you know, like every woman in Hollywood -- there's hardly any hairdressers or waitresses or working women who don't know somebody," Barr said to Access Hollywood, when asked if she had been shocked to hear about Cosby. "We've all heard it for a long time, and it surprises nobody."
It is unclear why if Roseanne Barr's Bill Cosby statements are true, nobody spoke out before about this.
