Steve Jobs Biopic has finally begun its shooting day with Michael Fassbender on the lead role and Danny Boyle as the director. Steve Jobs Biopic that has a tumultuous casting, film studio and director earlier has started rolling in San Francisco after all the permutations have been ironed out.

Steve Jobs Biopic with Fassbender as Steve Jobs also includes Seth Rogan as Steve Wozniak and Kate Winslet as the former Macintosh marketing boss.

Other casts playing as Apple employees include Jeff Daniels as Apple CEO John Sculley, Adam Shapiro as Avie Tevanian, Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, and Sarah Snook as PR head Andrea Cunningham in Steve Jobs Biopic, according to GIZMODO.

Katherine Waterston will also be seen portraying the role of Steve Job's ex-girlfriend and mother of Job's child, Chrisann Brennan. Perla Haney-Jardine takes the role of Job's daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs.

Steve Jobs Biopic took a long journey before it was finalized. Previously, the film version of Walter Isaacon's best-selling biography was seen to land to Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role while it will be directed by David Fincher under Sony Productions.

However, Fincher allegedly had higher expectations for Steve Jobs Biopic demanding a hefty amount of $10 million upfront and control over marketing as reported by Hollywood Reporter.

Steve Jobs Biopic was supposedly a reunion for Scott Rudin, producer, Aaron Sorkin, writer and Fincher, director who all worked for "The Social Network" that grossed $225 million. However, an insider commented that Fincher will be rewarded in success, but not upfront.

DiCaprio, 40, who was first lined up to portray the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in Steve Jobs Biopic bowed out to give way for his shooting for the film "The Revenant." The 40-year-old actor also disclosed his plan to take an extensive break from Hollywood.

After DiCaprio, strong contenders for the role of the Apple wizard include Christian Bale, 40, who was a personal choice of Fincher. However, Boyle dropped the offer in November after realizing he's not fit for the role in Steve Jobs Biopic.

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper were also in the talks to take the lead role of Steve Jobs, until finally it was heard that it was offered to Fassbender. However, Sorkin was vocal in expressing his sentiments that Fassbender was not right one to play as Apple co-founder in Steve Jobs Biopic.

In Daily Mail report, Sorkin's negative feeling about Sony's pick to get Fassbender for the role of Steve Jobs was exposed when Sony Pictures was hacked in November.

In an email addressed to Sony Pictures Chair Amy Pascal, Sorkin stated that he doesn't know who Michael Fassbender was and the rest of the world wasn't going to care.

Due to Steve Jobs Biopic controversies, Sony Pictures dropped the film. But in 2013, Universal picked the biopic and chose Ashton Kutcher to play as Steve Jobs. The film entitled "Jobs" didn't make it well and had struggled in the box-office.

Steve Jobs Biopic is slated to be seen on the big screen in 2016.
