Miss Universe 2014 winner is Miss Colombia Paulina Vega! Congratulations to the crowned Miss Universe and to the rest of the winners of the 63rd annual Miss Universe pageant held at the FIU Arena of the Florida International University in Miami, Florida, Jan. 25, 2015.
Miss Universe 2014 contender Miss Jamaica was one of the top favorites ended up 4th runner up, Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen on third, Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha on second, and Miss U.S.A. Nia Sanchez landed as the first runner-up.
As expected the top five finalists compete for the most challenging part, the question and answer portion where one of the judges asked them one-by-one. After judges asked each contestant, they were again asked with one Facebook question that one follower asked them to answer.
Maria Navarro Fernandez, one of the Facebook followers for the Miss Universe 2014 gave the question, "What is the greatest contribution of your country to the whole world?" The question and answer gave more hints for the judges to pick easily the winner from the top five finalists.
Other winners for the Miss Universe 2014 are "Miss Photogenic" Miss Puerto Rico, "Miss Congeniality Universe" Miss Nigeria, and the "Best National Costume" was Miss Indonesia.
Gavin DeGraw performed at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant where he sang "Fire" and "Finest Hour" from his new album "FINEST HOUR: THE BEST OF GAVIN DEGRAW." DeGraw was also joined by other performers such as Prince Royce and Nick Jonas.
Miss Universe 2014 winner Miss Colombia Paulina Vega rose from the rest of the 87 contestants all over the world while showing her own style, wit and elegance. Although many were happy about the result, many have raised their disappointments on the result.
Some of the users on Twitter have expressed their dissatisfaction on the result of the Miss Universe 2014, where they picked Miss Jamaica as the winner.
