Even though they haven't even been married for a full six months yet, ever since they first tied the knot the press has widely speculated about Amal Alamuddin (now Clooney) and George Clooney's divorce, but how much truth is there really behind the whole thing?
Last year, not long after the couple announced their engagement, United Kingdom newspaper The Daily Mail published an article about Alamuddin's family that Clooney later announced as being false and lacking in ethics, demanding an apology that he later didn't accept; being in such bad terms with the press in regards to his private life, it's hard to know how much bias they would have reporting the possibility of George Clooney's divorce.
According to The Inquisitr, it was thought that the George Clooney divorce rumors had been put to rest for the time being following the Golden Globes, when he was the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award and gave a long and heartfelt speech about how he had found love last year and had married Alamuddin, saying he was "proud" to be her husband.
However, as Travelers Today reports, the George Clooney divorce rumors have continued to go on, in spite of all his efforts - though, ultimately, the actor tends to act on his own accord for the most part, and hasn't gone on so far as to address them straight to the press, but rather continue to be seen with his wife in public as they go on dates, see their friends or go to awards shows like the recent Globes.
Back in the famous award show, the "Good Night and Good Luck" director graciously stated to Us Weekly that he was wearing the tuxedo he got married in back in September, as he told the magazine how his wife had spent all night trying to figure out what to wear as he just watched the football game.
In any case, it can be said that the George Clooney divorce rumors are nothing but that, as he seems insanely happy with his overachieving wife Amal.
