According to Us Weekly, Neil Patrick Harris' Oscar countdown started in the most adorable way possible: with the actor showing a clip of himself paying off after his daughter with husband David Burtka, 4 year-old Harper, to whom he gave $20 after losing a bet regarding the Academy Award nominations.
Harris, husband Burtka and 4 year-old twins Harper and Gideon have a long-standing tradition of posting Halloween family pictures every year, with the kind of costumes that'll melt people's hearts, as they theme their holiday with different icons of pop culture like "Alice in Wonderland" or "Peter Pan" - but, in any case, this has made them one of Hollywood's most beloved families.
As People Magazine reports, Neil Patrick Harris' Oscar bet sees him mock mad at having lost a bet to his beautiful baby girl, while Harper looks gleefully victorious that she beat her dad in such a dreadfully important manner.
"The Oscar nominations just came out this morning, and that can only mean one thing: I just lost 20 bucks," Harris said in a video posted on his Twitter page, according to The Daily Mail.
His young daughter then takes the money and politely says "thank you."
