Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and Rice

Satay originated neither from Thailand nor China. It is a national dish of Java, Indonesia. In Indonesia and Malaysia, you can find satay from a street tent-restaurant to an upper-class restaurant. This recipe is a combination of delicious chicken satay with sweet peanut sauce. If you add rice, it will be a nice dinner menu. Why would go out for dinner when you can make this tasty and exotic menu at home?

Ingredients
2 tbsp peanut butter (creamy one!)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp curry powder
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp hot pepper sauce
6 chicken breast, cubed

Directions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, curry powder, garlic and hot pepper sauce.
2. Marinate the chicken breasts in 1 and refrigerate overnight (3 hours is fine, if you don't have enough time)
3. Preheat a grill to high heat, while weaving the chicken onto skewers.
4. Grill for 5 minutes per side.
