In a strange turn of events, the latest Bruce Jenner magazine cover made by InTouch features the former husband of Kris Jenner in full female make-up, as the magazine "outs" him saying he's going to transition into a woman soon.
InTouch Magazine has received a whole lot of backlash over the Bruce Jenner magazine cover, which features the former track and field athlete Photoshopped to look like a woman, raising many eyebrows about whether the famous magazine is transphobic or even, if this were true, if they had any right to out him that way.
According to The Washington Post, the backlash regarding the Bruce Jenner magazine cover first started as soon as the latest issue of InTouch came out to the public, as they published a piece on Kim Kardashian's stepfather with the headline "Bruce Jenner's Transformation: How Does He Plan On Coming Out As A Woman?"
However, the big issue regarding the Bruce Jenner magazine cover wasn't the supposed news in itself, but rather the very distasteful way the whole thing was presented, according to Hollywood Life, especially considering the picture shown in the cover, which features the former Olympian heavily Photoshopped to look like a woman.
Buzzfeed reports that the magazine cover's picture is actually a mash-up between Jenner and actress Stephanie Beacham, as the website shows off pictures of them both side by side, where it can be seen that the top and scarf that the Photoshopped version of Jenner is wearing actually belongs to an older photo of the British actress.
In the pages of the article, it is stated that Jenner wants to come out publicly as transgender within the next few months, speaking out to the most famous LGBT magazine in the country, Advocate - however, the magazine has vehemently denied that there are any plans of the sort, as the world turns its head towards InTouch for the Bruce Jenner magazine cover that has been perceived as deeply transphobic and disrespectful of trans people in general.
