Tina Fey Amy Poehler Monologue: Best Of Last Golden Globes Performance! [VIDEO]

Movie and television buffs across the world are sad due to the fact that last Sunday, the Golden Globe Awards saw the last of the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler monologues, but the two funny women went out with a bang, leaving no man behind between George Clooney and Bill Cosby.

They may be the favorite hostesses in the history of the Golden Globes, and their tenure was so successful the first time around that the two "Saturday Night Live" alums went on two host the next two years - and now the world has seen its very last Tina Fey and Amy Poehler monologue for the Foreign Hollywood Press.

As AOL reports, the last of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's monologues wasn't about to see the two actresses playing it tame for the audience: they were going to show everyone just what they'd be missing out on next year, crying due to missing the pair way too much.

According to MTV, the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler monologue "crushed" the beginning of the Golden Globes, reminding everyone just how much we love both of them. Possibly the two highlights of the ten-minute monologue were actually feminist statements of sorts, as the two pointed out the Bill Cosby rape scandal and how George Clooney's wife Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin) is endlessly more deserving of a Lifetime Achievement Award than her movie star husband.

Different websites like Business Insider have understandably stressed the Cosby joke more than the Clooney one, but there's no real surprise there; in the joke, the two hostesses say that, in "Into the Woods," Sleeping Beauty just thought she was "getting coffee with Bill Cosby."

While many sites think that the Bill Cosby joke may have felt a little out of line - considering the humor of Fey and Poehler is actually fairly tame for the most part - but it may have been necessary to keep the scandal in the public mind.

In any case, it's very sad to know that this was the last ever Tina Fey and Amy Poehler monologue in the Golden Globes!
