Golden Globes 2015 Menu: What Were The Stars Eating And Drinking? [PHOTOS+VIDEO]

The awards given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press are famous for different things, among them the fact that it's the ceremony where the stars get to dine and drink right during the ceremony - so what were the nominees and guest getting in the Golden Globes 2015 menu?

The Golden Globe ceremony is probably the lightest among the serious movie and television award shows, due to the fact that it's always much more relaxed and the guests get to dine and drink throughout, so it's definitely juicy news to find out what was in the Golden Globes 2015 menu.

As reported by ABC News, between takes of the ceremony, viewers were able to catch little bits of the Golden Globes 2015 menu items - or, at least, notice the fact that even though there were some seriously tight-fitting dresses, the beautiful Hollywood actresses had absolutely no problem in stuffing their faces with the delicious (and, of course, free) food that was right in front of them.

According to The Daily Mail, the Golden Globes 2015 menu options were widely varied, as they tried to create a safe food environment for all guests, whatever fancy Hollywood diet they were following: from vegan and vegetarian to gluten-free dieters and even some double meat-eating stars!

In a statement given to The Associated Press, the executive chef for the occasion, Troy N. Thompson, revealed the details of the dining options for the different guests of the show, including big stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, Meryl Streep, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, Ethan Hawke among many other nominees and guests of the evening.

"The entrée dish is a dual of Arctic char, slow roasted Arctic char and then onion marinated fillet, tenderloin. It gets a little red wine sauce and then tomato compote, heirloom tomato compote then we have a potato croquette in the middle and a kale chip. You have to be healthy there," said Thompson in a recent statement, as he spoke about the big event's menu.

Before the ceremony and revealing that there were approximately 1,300 guests attending to taste the Golden Globes 2015 menu, Thompson said he would be working with 40 chefs, 50 bartenders and 250 that would be working in the ceremony serving entrées, dishes, different drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

The grand event included 600 bottles of wine, as well as 400 Moet & Chandon magnums and 1,500 bottles of Champagne minis, to satisfy the very special attendance to the event - the Champagne was actually given out in the red carpet.

The three-course feast included a Waldorf salad, marinated filet mignon (for the meat-eaters; vegans went for saffron cannelloni of ricotta and basil) and a dessert of the most amazing of lemon cheesecakes, including chocolate, caramel and hazelnut.

It's not too bad at all being a guest to major award shows - specially considering just how delicious every single Golden Globes 2015 menu item looks!
